Meine Meinung:
Nachdem ich mich schon anfangs ziemlich geärgert habe, weil ich es einfach nicht glauben kann, dass die Hauptstrasse von Inverness schon Mitte der sechziger Jahre mit Souvenirläden vollgepflastert war, wollte auch im weiteren Verlauf keine rechte Stimmung aufkommen. Zu konstruiert, zu abstrus, zu wenig fesselnd erschien mir das Ganze. Bis ca. Seite 200 habe ich mich durchgequält. Da ich wegen drohenden Übergepäcks etwas ausmisten musste, fiel es mir nicht schwer, das Buch in der JuHe in Taipei zurückzulassen, vielleicht findet sich ja noch jemand, dem der Roman mehr Spaß macht als mir.
Mein Fazit:
Just not my cup of tea. Schade, die Idee fand ich sehr gut, nur die Umsetzung gefällt mir nicht.
